The Abertis Foundation takes part in World Children’s Day

Con motivo del Día Universal de la Infancia, los días 2 y 3 de diciembre en el Pabellón de Cristal de la Casa de Campo de Madrid, la Fundación Abertis llevó a cabo actividades de educación vial destinadas a los más pequeños.

World Children’s Day is an event organised by the Madrid regional government through its General Directorate of the Family and Minors to focus on future generations and offer them dozens of social, educational and recreational activities.

The Abertis Foundation had a stand dedicated to road education for children, which was designed to be fun, but above all to teach them how to improve their mobility in the city and avoid traffic accidents.

The “Responsible mobility and road education” space offered numerous recreational-educational activities for the whole family, including a road safety circuit for children aged 2 to 11, a play area for the under-fives, a respect-for-diversity circuit, car and motorbike simulators and a turnover simulator to explain to adults how to act if your vehicle overturns and how to correctly position the children’s safety seats.

The activities in World Children’s Day were spread on the social networks throughout the whole of Children’s Week with the hashtag #SemanaInfancia (ChildrensWeek). Although admission was totally free, the visitors were invited to bring food, children’s clothes or toys for needy children.
