To mark World Children’s Day, the Abertis Foundation organised road education activities for children in the Crystal Pavilion in the Casa de Campo in Madrid on 2 and 3 December.

In order to reduce traffic accidents involving motorway workers, Sanef launched a multichannel campaign to raise awareness among drivers of the need to moderate their speed and be particularly alert to vehicles working on the motorway facilities, for the safety of all users.

Juan Ignacio Zoido, Minister of the Interior, and Sergi Loughney, Chairman of the Abertis Foundation, presented #SumaTuLuz (#AddYourlight), an innovative campaign for raising awareness of the risk of driving under the effects of alcohol and other drugs. The campaign is aimed at young people when they are out having fun at night during the Christmas holidays.

The period between June and September is the most dangerous in terms of accidents on public highways and on roads. This is why the Abertis Foundation concentrates the activities in its ‘Te queda una vida’ (You only have one life) initiative between these months.
