Max Beckmann (Leipzig, 1884 – New York, 1950) was one of German’s leading 20th century artists.
Of all the achievements in 2018, we can feel particularly proud of our collaboration with UNICEF, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, and the Guttmann Institute in developing an ambitious project to reduce child fatalities caused by road traffic accidents in the Third World.

The Gala Salvador Dalí Foundation and the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) organised the exhibition “Gala Salvador Dalí. Una habitación propia en Púbol” (Gala Salvador Dalí. A room of one’s own in Púbol) at the museum in Barcelona from 5th July to 14th October 2018, thanks to the sponsorship by Abertis.

The Roman quarry of El Médol, alongside the AP-7 toll road as it runs past Tarragona, exceeded the 30 thousand visitors mark in 2018, with 32,038. This means that the number of visits has grown considerably since the El Mèdol interpretation centre opened its doors for the first time.

The Cervantes Institute in Marrakech published the book “Poemas esenciales” by José Hierro, which was presented at the Casablanca International Book Fair on 12th February.
